Slow Food Noosa Snail Trail 2019

Experience the delicious food of the Noosa region. Come with an empty stomach and leave with your heart full.

This great trail begins with a rich home-made morning tea and a journey to Hinterland Feijoas. The trail continues onto the future-oriented North Arm Farm, which utilises the bioponics method to raise Black Angus cattle. The farm also trades chemical-free local produce in the shop.

The lead of the show is Nick Blake (ex-Noma and Wasabi chef). He will prepare, what may be known as, a biosphere on a plate. He'll create a tasty dish of fresh, natural food with wild edibles and locally sourced meat or fresh seafood as a 3-course lunch paired with local wines served at Kin Kin General Store. You may also take a walk through Kin Kin State School to see their fantastic permaculture gardens.

Continue up the road and stop at Noosa Black Coffee for an excellent plantation tour. Finally, make a stop for a fantastic sunset drink to cap off the trip before heading back to Noosa.

Attendees of The Slow Food Noosa Trail leave in air-conditioned buses, moving from Noosa Heads Bus stop, (cnr Noosa Parade and Noosa Drive opp Noosa Lions Park) at exactly 8.30am, so be early. Latecomers will not be included.

Choose comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of walking. Put on a hat and sunscreen as well. A goodie bag and some water will also be provided.

The trail departs from and goes back to the Noosa Heads Bus Stop. Three of the stops are farms, so it is recommended that you wear comfy shoes and cool clothing as well as a hat and sunscreen. Enjoy the Slow Food Noosa Trail on May 16.
